So many of my friends and family have been keeping tabs on my health so here is an update. I really am fine. I had another doctor appointment this morning. I've only lost 2 pounds (that one could go either way depending on how you look at it!~). Since my Crohn's symptoms are getting worse and new ones are popping up I finally agreed to go back on Asacol. I have taken it many times before and since the pain has gotten worse I had to give in. It is an aminosalicylate anti-inflammatory, so it should help the pain as well as the arthritis, open sores in my mouth and back pain that are side effects of the Crohn's. It is suppose to help the cramping too so I just hope it kicks in quickly. The idea of PREDNISONE came up again and my response was the same, if I get bad enough to need steroids again I will be in the hospital. So, all in all everything is fine. Things should turn around soon! Thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers.
