I have always tried to support charities when the donations stay LOCAL. There are people in need everywhere and I enjoy knowing I've helped my neighbor. Shane and I have had several dogs over the years. They are part of our family as any pet owner knows. A man who is a prominent figure in my town has started a not for profit charity to help LOCAL dog owners who face the decision to treat a major illness or have their dog put down.
