We recently saw the movie Blind Side. What a great movie! We really enjoyed it. One of my favorite scenes was when Michael tackled another player and then put out his hand to help the guy back up. It reminded me of Jack. The first year he played "real" hockey which I believe is when they start to keep score, he did the same thing. He knocked another boy down (there is no checking when they are that little) and Jack stopped, removed his glove into his armpit and helped the other kid up! That's just who he is and I love that about him! Now that he is at the age of full checking he is rather good at it but will only throw a clean check. Many times I have seen him stop himself if he thinks he could hurt the other player. To me that is just COOL.
