What a great 12th Birthday for JACK. He went shopping for a gift and out to lunch with Uncle Mark and Aunt Jessica to start his day. Then he had about 10 minutes at home before he was rushed to Lakeshore to ride in style to his big game at the War Memorial in a LIMO (thank you Hess Family for a cool surprise). The limo drove his whole team around town (and Coach Shane too) for over an hour before dropping the team off. Jack played his game and then we stayed for the Amerks game. He had lots of family and good friends cheering him on. Jack requested cash for his birthday to save up for an ipod touch. His gift from Mom and Dad was to have us make up the difference in money to get his ipod OR buy him a new M11 helmet. He had me order his ipod last night before he went to bed. Unfortunately Jack out smarted his parents. He slyly mentioned that his helmet is too tight and he will still need a new one. He is right. He obviously gave that some thought!
