While Jack was in his gym class on Friday some high school boys were wandering the locker room unattended. Jack had forgotten to lock up a binder. The boys unzipped it, removed some items (a pencil pouch, his schedule and personal/emergency phone numbers) and put his things into the running showers. I really don't think that they had a clue who the things belonged to but it was just a way to be mean. The worst part was that when Jack told the gym teacher, he was told that it was his own fault for leaving something out. Since the district claims to have a zero tolerance policy on bullying I find it ironic to "blame the victim". One more check mark in our Get Out Of The School District column!
