Shane and I were deeply saddened this morning by the passing of Shane's Uncle Ed. He is one of my father-in-laws brothers. He has been ill for many months, had brain surgery, gone through dialysis and had many other trials. Even expected losses are difficult to get through.Edward L. Crudele was the second of seven children born to William Dominic Crudele and Violet May Bound. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He has been married to Jean Rogers for over 40 years and has two children, Cindy and David, and 3 grandsons, Jud, Travis and Frank. His two favorite past times were his love of cars and GOLF. He was a memner of the Carpenters Union for over 30 years.
Shane has many fond memories of the countless hours he spent with his uncle as a child. Much of the Crudele Clan was and still is in Cananadaigua. As the family makes plans to gather in his memory we know that many wonderful stories will be shared.
At times like this we find so much comfort knowing that families are eternal.

very nice tribute, Gretchen. Our condolences! My dad's side of the family is also from Canandaigua (he was born there).
