Well, the surgery on my left hand went as planned except, my thumb was so unstable that the doctor put a pin in. My first thought was, "OK, not such a big deal" lots of people have pins, plates, screws. Then I learned that OH NO! the pin is sticking out of my thumb. I must admit that I'm dying to peek! Boy does it hurt but the nurses told me not to unwrap it. I will finally get a look tomorrow.
