Part of Shane's family is from Harvey's Lake, Pennsylvania. It is a rather small town on a lake that is one of the prettiest places I can think of! We love to visit and don't get there enough. The houses around the lake are nothing short of spectacular. We sometimes switch who drives so we both get a chance to look at the scenery and DREAM. A few years ago I was at my favorite garden store and they had Harvey's Lake flowers on clearance. I was thrilled. When you drive around the lake in the summer, many of the properties have daylilies in their landscaping. I hadn't seen these solid yellow blooms very often around here so I was so happy to find some. I am now proud of my 4 giant lilies. They flower all summer and bring a smile to me often.
